The ground rules for tutoring, Homework Forge (my practice app) and the free tools. Privacy has its own page.

Tutoring

Prices are on the pricing page.

  • Every student starts with a free consultation.
  • A single one-hour session counts in full toward the 10-Hour Package if you buy it within 14 days.
  • The 10-Hour Package lasts 6 months from purchase, then unused hours expire. Until then, email me to move them to any subject I tutor, a sibling or a friend, or get a refund.
  • Cancel or move a session at least 24 hours ahead. Later cancellations and missed sessions are billed like any other session.
  • The Complete Support Plan (monthly, up to 40 hours) has no long-term contract. Cancel any time with 30 days' notice.

Homework Forge plans

  • Free plan: 10 practice questions a day and a few AI helper chats. Timed modules need a paid plan.
  • $19 a month, or $49 every 3 months (about $16 a month).
  • Plans renew automatically, charging your card each month or 3 months until you cancel.
  • Cancel any time yourself on Homework Forge's billing page (run by Stripe), no email or reason needed. You keep the plan until the paid period ends, with no further charges. Your account and practice history stay unless you ask me to delete them.
  • Changed your mind? Email me within 7 days of your first payment and I'll refund it in full. After that, cancelling stops future charges, but past payments aren't refunded.
  • Live in the EU or UK? Checkout asks you to agree that your plan starts right away. If you then cancel within 14 days, I'll refund the days you haven't used.
  • Prices include any sales tax.
  • If a price goes up, I'll email you before your next renewal, so you can cancel first.
  • Under 18? A parent or guardian buys the plan and agrees to these terms for you.

Practice and the AI helper

  • The public practice questions are original, not official SAT questions. Please don't copy them in bulk or republish them; links are fine.
  • Max, the AI helper, is in beta and can be wrong, so trust the answer key. It has a daily limit.
  • Max is not a crisis service. In the US, call or text 988, or 911 in an emergency.
  • Score predictions are estimates. Nothing here, including tutoring, promises a score.

Accounts

  • You need to be 13 or older. In the EU, you need to be 16, or a parent needs to sign up for you.
  • Keep your password private; you're responsible for your account.
  • I can close an account used to break the site, copy questions in bulk, or bother others.

The fine print

Andrés the Tutor and Homework Forge aren't affiliated with or endorsed by College Board, which owns the SAT, PSAT and Bluebook trademarks. The app and free tools come as they are, and as far as the law allows, I'm not responsible for losses from using them. If these terms change, I'll update this page, emailing you first if it affects a plan you've paid for. These terms follow Pennsylvania law.
