SAT · Students in Europe
SAT tutoring for students at international schools in Europe.
One tutor, one student, on Zoom, after school your time. I've taught for twenty years; the SAT is the part of a US application I can move the most in a term.
What a session is
Sixty to ninety minutes on Zoom, one to one, billed by the hour. We start with a diagnostic test. From that, Homework Forge (my SAT practice app, and the reason many of my students' scores have moved as far as they have) ranks the topics that will move your child's score the most, and that is what we work on together. Between sessions your child practises in the app, which keeps narrowing in on the weak spots, so the next session starts where the last one left off. I keep you in the loop along the way.
The plan
Some students start a year or two out, some have a test date in ten weeks. The rhythm fits the student: usually one session a week, with a full practice test every few weeks so you always know where things stand.

Questions
Where do students in Europe take the Digital SAT?
At international test centers, usually inside international schools, on the international test dates (typically March, May, June, August, October, November, December). Seats fill early in the big cities; we plan the date first and work backwards.
How many sessions does it take?
It depends on where your child starts and when the test is. Most students do one session a week; some start two years out, some ten weeks out. The diagnostic tells us.
